📍 Checked in at: Reconsideration (EIR reg 11)
Next step (forecast): reconsideration decision, 18 Dec 2026
We asked Historic England, under EIR regulation 11, to reconsider three points in its 21 October reply (ref 26/04323): whether any record of the 12 January 2018 microfiche transfer survives, who authorised it and why, and whether any copy or index was kept afterwards.
“Please confirm whether Historic England holds any record of that transfer itself”
Under EIR regulation 12(4)(a) we said we hold no information matching the request, but noted that archaeological report microfiches, including any Welsh material, were transferred to RCAHMW on 12 January 2018.
“I am unable to provide you with anything on this occasion, as we do not hold any information that falls within the scope of your request”
We acknowledged receipt of the request (our reference 26/04323) about Great House Farm/Tŷ Mawr and said a full response would follow within the statutory 20 working day period under FOI/EIR.
“We will be writing to you within the statutory 20 working day timeframe with a response to your request.”
We asked Historic England under FOI for records on Great House Farm/Tŷ Mawr, Llandough, including the 15 January 2018 transfer of archive item 6500905 to RCAHMW, its acquisition history, any retained copies, and related correspondence on its listing and 1988 demolition.
“Please provide: 1. The record of that transfer as it relates to this item, or to Llandough”
